Held Where You Weren’t.

My current body of work, ‘Held Where You Weren’t’ is a visual journal that delves into the deeply personal and complex journey of trying to become a mother.

Through layered visuals and quiet spaces, the overall work explores the emotional landscape of longing, loss, waiting, and becoming. It speaks to the unspoken; the spaces between, the suspended moments, and the fragile co-existence of mother and child, even when the child is only imagined, lost, or not yet here. The visual journal is not just about motherhood as a destination, but as an evolving state of being.
